The scope of work consists of Repairs to the Poland Ave. Wharf, N.O., LA including: (1) Replacement of 37 each Govt furnished 90' fender piles; (2) Installation of galvanized steel fender pile caps; (3) Replacement of fender pile wales; (4) Repair and restoration of wharf expansion joints; and (5) Upgrading of 4 bollards for 110 mph wind conditions. Estimated magnitude of project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Small business set-aside size standard is $28.5 million. A combination Site Inspection/Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wed, 17 December 2003 at 0900 at the MARAD Warehouse, Poland Ave Wharf, N.O., LA. Proposals will be due on or about 13 Jan 2004.
