Project Title & Location: Redwood City Channel Maintenance Dredging, San Mateo County, California. This procurement is an Unrestricted IFB. Job Description: The work consists of maintenance dredging of Redwood City Channel of approximately 325,000 cu bic yards of materials, to provide a project authorized depth, -30 feet plus 1 foot allowable over-depth, and disposing of the dredged material at site SF-11. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code 237990. The size standard for th is NAICS code is $17.0 Million. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The recommended goals for subcontracting are: Small Business: 50.9%, Small Disadvantaged Business: 8.8%, Women-Owned Small Business: 7.2%, HUBZone Small Business: 2. 9%, and Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business: 0.5%. The acquisition method is Invitation for Bids (IFB). It is important that y ou first go to this website and under Contracting Division homepage click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to Plan Holder Registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization who is responsible for registering your firm on planholders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password you can always go back into t he system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However, you can only do this by using your initial user name and password.
