The Colville National Forest has a requirement for construction of a picnic shelter at Pioneer Park on the Newport Ranger District. The project is located northwest of Spokane, Washington, and approximately 4 miles north of Newport, Washington, off county road 9305 on west side of Pend Oreille River. The project consists of: constructing a 600 square foot picnic shelter, complete with electrical service, concrete pad, pathway, heavy rough sawn wood frame, shake roof and site work. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools and transportation necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. The project will be procured on an unrestricted basis. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about April 8, 2002. Estimated start work date is on or about May 15, 2002, with a completion date of 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Quotes are estimated to be due April 29, 2002. An Alternate Payment Protection (payment bond) will be required upon award. NAICS code is 233320. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000.
