The Forest Service will be accepting proposals for LSF PH2 Gronchi. Work shall consist of excavation, removal of drop inlets, placing of riprap, placing of pit run aggregate, mulching and seeding and placing of drain core. LOCATION: Project is located on the Salmon River Ranger District, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. From Yreka, proceed south and west on State Highway 3 (Fort Jones Road) to Callahan and the junction with County Road 1C02 (FS93 the Callahan-Cecillville Road). Proceed west on 2C01 approximately 42 miles to the junction of 39N34. Turn left of 39N34 and proceed 2 miles to the beginning of 38N23. CONTRACT TIME: 60 days. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Work is estimated to start approximately September 19, 2005. Estimated issue date of August 8, 2005, with proposal due date estimated as September 7, 2005. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website for viewing and printing.
