SYNOPSIS The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Afghanistan District intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a Firm Fixed Priced contract for the design and construction of a 50 bed single-story Hospital addition to the existing regional Hospital at the A NA Brigade Garrison in Gardez, Afghanistan. The addition will provide an additional patient care facility, and related administrative, visiting, and support capabilities. Included are all associated utility and site work. The contractor shall furnish all labor, management, materials, facilities, equipment and supplies to design and construct the facilities. The Contracting Officer or authorized representative will approve all designs, construction submittals, and materials. Award for this procurement will be made in accordance with the applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $31M. The estimated value of the contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5, 000,000.00. The total schedule for completing the entire work is 420 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed.
