The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Region 5, is planning a solicitation for Elevated Boardwalk Construction at the Eastern Virginia Rivers National Wildlife Refuge Complex, Richmond County, Warsaw, VA This solicitation will use a Request for Proposal method as outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Parts 15. The ultimate contract award will be based on the best overall value to the goverment with the past performance of interested qualified firms being a major deciding factor. The project consists of the construction of a Ravine elevated pedestrian boardwalk approximately 8' x 176'. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS is 238350. This procurement is unrestricted. This solicitation will be issued on/or about August 14, 2007; with an estimated proposal closing date of on/or about September 12, 2007. All responsive, responsible, offerors with a strong positive past performance history, are invited to participate in the proposal process and will be considered for contract award.
