The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking offers from firms that are SDVOSB Construction firms with NAICS Code 233320 for the renovation of existing Patient Wards 6B and 7B at the Durham VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. The project will include, but is not limited to, furnishing all necessary management, supervision, personnel, material, supplies, equipment, facilities necessary to plan, schedule, coordinate asbestos abatement, general construction, alternations, plumbing, medical gases, fire protection, HVAC, electrical work and removal of existing structures necessary to renovate approximately 20,000 SF of existing space on the 6th and 7th floors of the fully operational medical facility. The work will consist of two phases: Phase 1 is floor 7 and Phase 2 is floor 6. The offeror shall furnish, obtain any and all necessary licenses and/or permits required to perform this work in the State of North Carolina. Cost range for this procurement is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code for this Procurement is 233320, with a Size Standard of $28.5 million. This solicitation is a 100% Set-Aside for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB). This solicitation will be issued on or around December 14, 2004, with a proposal due date of approximately January 31, 2005.
