The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision and equipment and perform all operation necessary to accomplish all work complete in place as shown on the drawings, specified herein or as needed to construction an addition to 413th FLTS Facility, Building 90070, project FTEV 06-1034. This project consists of a 2,210 square foot addition to an existing facility, including a Work Room area and a Mechanical/Electrical Room. The work shall be fully and complete in accordance with the contract documents. The work to be performed includes but is not necessarily limited to the following principal features. 1) Minor site work including demolition of a portion of existing concrete pavement. Some replacement concrete pavement will be required. A storage shed will be required to be relocated on a new concrete slab. 2) Concrete footings and concrete slab on grade for Pre-Engineered metal building structure. 3) Exterior insulation and Finish System over exterior gypsum sheathing on 6 inch metal studs with R-19 batt insulation and standing seam metal roofing with R-30 vinyl faced batt insulation. 4) Interior metal stud walls with painted gypsum board finish. 5) A pre-engineered mezzanine will be included as a bid option. 6) The Fire Protection scope of this project includes providing a wet pipe fire sprinkler system IAW NFPA-13, UFC-3-600-01 and the authority having jurisdiction. The building generally contains work shops, storage areas and a mechanical room.7) Plumbing Provide and install new hose bibb and air drops. Government furnished, contractor installed air compressor. 8) Mechanical Provide and install new split system heat pump, air handler, ductwork, diffusers and return air grilles. Provide exposed double wall spiral ductwork, aluminum diffusers and grilles. 9) Electrical Work will consist of new florescent lighting and emergency/egress lighting. Receptacles will be provided in accordance with the users needs. A new 400 Hertz Frequency Converter and associated equipment and outlets will be provided. A new 28 Volt DC rectifier and associated equipment and outlets will be provided. A new fire alarm initiating and signaling devices will be installed and connected to the existing back to the existing backboard. Since the existing main service and pad mount transformer cannot accommodate the total loads, a new pad mount transformer will be provided with a new secondary service. The new main service will be sized in order to back feed the existing building loads. A site visit will be scheduled approximately 15 days from the solicitation issue date. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
