The Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Office is soliciting for offers for the Cambell Fence project in Montrose County, Colorado. The project consists of removal of existing 4 stranded barbed wire and damaged wood posts from approximately 1.7 miles of burned fence. Existing steel posts shall be reused. Also included in the project is construction of 4 stranded barbed wire fence and new stress panels and wire gates using contractor furnished materials. Also included is maintenance and repair of existing 4 stranded barbed wire fence that has not been burned for approximately 0.5 miles. The work is located approximately 12.7 miles out of Nucla, Colorado, and another 4 miles ATV travel to the fence location. A prebid site tour is offered on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 10:00 am. Interested parties will meet at 145 W 5th Street, Nucla, CO. The site tour will be conducted using ATV's. Attendees will be required to furnish and operate their own ATV.
