The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Afghanistan District intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the design and construction of a Border Police Brigade Headquarters at Jalalabad, Nangahar Province, Afghani stan, a Standby Police Battalion Headquarters in Gardez, Paktia Province, Afghanistan, and a Border Police Battalion Headquarters in Schahidan, Paktika Province, Afghanistan. This project is defined as the design and furnishing of materials, labor, and equ ipment to construct these facilities, and to construct or provide for all utilities, roads, supporting buildings, facility force protection measures, site security, de-mining activities, and other features. The contractor shall furnish all labor, manageme nt, materials, facilities, equipment and supplies to design and construct the facility as referenced herein. Award for this procurement will be made in accordance with the applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $31M. The estimated value of the contract is more than $10,000,000.00. T he total schedule for completing the entire work is 365 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed.
