Work shall consist of the manufacturer and installation of articulated courtesy boarding floats at existing boat launching facilities at various locations on Shasta and Trinity Lakes, on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Each location will receive three (3) 20 foot long by 8 foot wide boarding float sections, and one(1) 16 foot long by four(4) foot wide gangplank section. Boarding floats shall be galvanized steel frame with lightweight concrete decking and shall be connected to an existing rail guidance system. There is to be an optional bid item for two boarding floats to be delivered but not installed. Offers will be required to submit a technical as well as a price proposal.
