The work consists of maintenance dredging of the federally authorized channel with semi-confided disposal into open water area defined by an existing rock dike along the right descending bank of Bayou Segnette and the National Park Service crib locat ed in Lake Salvador. Existing crib will require an earthed filled geotextile tube. Work is estimated to cost between $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00. IFB/CD will be issued on or about 9 February 2004.
