Exterior work includes correct water infiltration problems at the roof level, exterior walls and windows; repair and/or replace roofs, as necessary, including the Library Moore Wing; modify existi ng exhaust fans, as necessary, to minimize interference with proposed roof repairs and/or replacements; modify roof near intake louvers, as necessary, on southeast roof; repair and/or replace existing capstones on parapet walls to install new flashing; rep lace roof drains and vents, as necessary; paint roof stairways, ladders and other structures; re-clad existing observatory dome; re-anchor guy wires for the radio transmitting antenna; replace and/or clean rust-stained granite stones, as necessary; clean e ntire building exterior; rake and repoint all masonry; repair and/or replace deteriorated window; repair entrance steps, as necessary; repair and/or replace interior roof leader connections, as necessary; repair and/or replace exterior doors, as necessary; and incidental related work.
