The Aspen Meadows Diversion Fish Passage Improvements project consists of reconstructing an existing diversion dam structure to restore fish passage. The existing wooden dam would be removed and replaced with a roughened channel that will allow passage for fish at all life stages during all flows. The existing head works, fish return pipe, and fish screen will be replaced when the point of diversion is moved 40 feet upstream. In stream work will occur between September 15 and October 30, 2005.It is anticipated that actual construction from start to finish is expected to be less than 2 weeks.
