Pre-Solicitation Notice The VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90822, has a requirement to replace the emergency back up well water pump that provides emergency back up well water to the facilities boilers. A Firm-Fixed Price award is anticipated. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, certification, supervision, and materials necessary to perform all operations in connections with this order. Contractor shall perform work in strict accordance with the General Specifications, Statement of Work, schedule, and all other supporting documents for the construction project replace emergency back-up well water pump at VA West Los Angeles Medical Center, 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90822, in accordance with items specified herein. Prior to bidding on the project, contractor shall refer to and install equipment based on the contract documents including drawings and specifications, visit the job site, and familiarize with the site existing conditions and constraints. Temporary System provisions will be made to keep areas operational during operations. Any questions will be directed in writing through the VA West Los Angeles engineer for review and response. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The Period of Performance for this project will be 30 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the Veterans First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this project is 237110 water and sewer line and related structures construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million.
