The purpose of this synopsis is to gain market research on potential Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. Information received will be used in any set-aside determination. The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a construction contract for Project 654-16-614, Potable Water Dead Leg Removal. Scope of the project comprises the removal of all plumbing dead legs, approximately 124, throughout three buildings, located at the VA Medical Center, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, Nevada, 89502. Work to remove the 124 plumbing dead legs will consist of de-construction, demolition, piping reconfiguration, pipe insulation, ceiling openings, ceiling closings, wall openings, wall closings, plumbing, pipes, valves and associated structural components. The magnitude of this project is between $ 100,000 and $ 250,000 (VAAR 836.204). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with the Small Business Size Standard of $15.0M.
