The Bureau of Land Management (BLM),Division of Solid Minerals have an requirement to replace a old and severely malfunctioning Rigaku brand desktop powder x-ray diffractometer (XRD) that has been in use at the BLM National Mineral Testing Laboratory (NMTL) in Worland, Wyoming for more than two decades. The current instrument is no longer repairable. BLM intend to Sole Source this requirement to the Rigaku Americas Corporation.
