CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO MALUHIA ROAD AND KŌLOA ROAD The County of Kaua’i is seeking Construction Management services for the Improvements to Maluhia Road and Kōloa Road project. Work will include construction management and construction quality assurance services to ensure construction is performed in compliance with construction and related environmental requirements for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funded project. The project is funded through a grant from the FHWA; Federal Aid Project No.: STP-0700(072). The estimated construction cost is between $ 18,000,000 and $ 19,000,000. The contract will be a Project-specific contract which is a contract between the contracting agency and consultant for the performance of services and defined scope of work related to a specific project. The contract will be paid under the time and material payment method. The final negotiated scope of work will establish the extent, scope, complexity, character, and duration of the work to be contracted. Campaign contributions by State and County Contractors . Contractors are hereby notified of the applicability of Section HRS 11-355, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from specified State or county government contractors during the term of the contract if the contractors are paid with funds appropriated by a legislative body.
