1. The Defense Information Systems Agency, Ft Meade, intends to negotiate a sole source award with MarkLogic Corporation located at 999 Skyway Road, San Carlos, CA for the Extensible Markup Language (XML) Repository. This contract will provide Chief Technology Office (CTO) with engineering support to integrate and leverage the XML Repository capabilities into existing operations through technical and systems integration acquired through this contract and to provide ongoing maintenance support of the MarkLogic licenses. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The proposed contract action is for licenses and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Interested persons may identify their interest and capability statement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
