NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD -- The 325th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to XM Satellite Radio for 1 (one) XM Satellite Weather subscriptions for QF-4 Aircraft for 12 months. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. Quotes are not being requested and written solicitation will not be used. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 1 Oct 2010. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This North American Industry Classification System Code 515111 and size standard of $7,000,000 apply to this procurement.
