This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), solicitation number FA4608-11-Q-0014, in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, and is in accordance with provisions and clauses effective in Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-24 effective 31 March 2008). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 515210, and the small business size standard is $15M. The service required is to provide a one time activation fee for 2 new XM antennas and the purchase of XM Aviator WX subscriptions from XM Satellite Radio Inc for (1) 396 GPS, (13) 496 GPS, (1) 560 GPS and (1) 696 GARMIN GPS Navigation. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The Government is projecting this acquisition as a sole source purchase through XM Radio, however all responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The contractor must remit a completed copy of the REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS at FAR 52.212-3, or follow the instruction as provided in the clause unless you have a copy on file at https://orca.bpn.gov.
