The general scope of work identified in the Contract Documents comprises the construction of an Aerated Grit Removal System. The Smithfield Wastewater Treatment Facility Aerated Grit System components will include the following: Construction of an Aerated Grit Tank/System; Furnish and Install Positive Displacement Blower; Furnish and install an Odor Control System; Relocation of bypass line; Piping, site work, dewatering, excavation support, equipment systems, structures, instrumentation, control and electrical systems, as indicated on design plans; and all miscellaneous appurtenant items, to complete the work shown and described within the Contract Documents and described herein.
