YOUNGS RIVER LEWIS & CLARK WATER DISTRICTWTP 0.4 MG CLEARWELL AND 1.0 MG APSMO TANK THM REMOVAL EQUIPMENT SYSTEMS Bids Due 2:00 pm, August 24, 2023 NOTICE TO SUPPLIERSThe Youngs River Lewis & Clark Water District is soliciting bids for the WTP 0.4 MG Clearwell and 1.0 MG APSMO tank THM Removal Equipment Systems until 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at which time bidding will be closed. Bids should be addressed to Mr. Carl Gifford, Superintendent, Youngs River Lewis & Clark Water District, 34583 US-101 Business, Astoria, OR 97103. At 2:00 P.M., bids will be opened and read aloud in the District office. The project scope includes: Purchase of two THM removal systems consisting of tank ventilation and mixing equipment systems and all appurtenances for complete and fully operable systems. One system to be provided for installation in the 0.4 MG tank at the water treatment plant with the second system to be provided for installation in the 1.0 MG APSMO tank. Installation shall be by others. To be considered, bids must be completed on the bidding forms provided, in the manner prescribed in the bidding documents and accompanied by a 5% bid security in favor of the Youngs River Lewis & Clark Water District. Each bidder must indicate in the space provided on the Bid Form, whether they are a Resident or Non-Resident Bidder pursuant to ORS 279A.120. Bids over $2,000 will require Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates in the bid price for any on-site labor or services. Bids over $50,000 will require the higher of either Davis-Bacon and Oregon Prevailing Wage Rates in the bid price for any onsite labor or services. Bidders on this contract will be subject to all requirements of the American Iron and Steel Act (AIS). The Youngs River Lewis & Clark Water District reserves the right to reject any or all bids not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, may reject for good cause any and all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so, and may waive all informalities. No bidder may withdraw or modify his bid prior to the lapse of thirty (30) days after bid opening.
