The WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNNMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on behalf of the CARDIOLOGY DEPT has awarded a sole source procurement to MEDTRONIC, INC. for MEDICAL EQUIPMENT.
Urgent Requirement: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under
authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or service providers will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using SAP. THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT FOR OPEN BIDS. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation/notice of award for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the notice of award and written notice of intent WILL NOT be issued.
