The following is the Performance Work Statement (PWS)
TO BE SUPPLIED AND INSTALLED:
Heavy Duty Racking to be supplied and installed in WRM, Bldg 70, RAF Feltwell, to support 463L pallets
Three racks containing 10 pallet positions each secured to the floor.
Height approximately 120 inches x approx 150 inches wide x approx 100 inches length.
One rack containing 5 pallet positions each secured to the floor.
Height approximately 120 inches x approx 150 inches wide x approx 100 inches length.
Two racks containing 3 pallet positions each secured to the floor.
Height approximately 120 inches x approx 150 inches wide x approx 100 inches length.

TO BE REMOVED:
Pallet Racking and guiderails to be removed from WRM Bldg 70, RAF Feltwell
Three double entry runs each nominally 47760mm long (16 x 2900mm clear entry bays) x end frames 9525mm high, intermediate frames 8230mm high x 2133mm deep (2 x 914mm deep bays + 1 x 305 mm frame spacer).

Guide Rails: remove approximately 280 linear meters of guide rails around 3 double entry racks, all protruding floor fixings to be ground flush with floor.
The guide rail against the last double entry rack removed to be left in place to create aisle for the remaining pallet racking.

***All dismantled racking and guide rail materials to be palletized for shipment by vendor. The Government will dispose of palletized dismantled racking system.***

Evaluation will be based on:
(i) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement;
a. racking system must be of a design that supports 463L pallets

(ii) price

A site visit shall be conducted at 9:00 a.m. GMT on Monday, 13 September 2010. The site location is at building 70 in RAF Feltwell. Site visitors are required to be present at the main entrance of the base 15 minutes before the appointment to be signed and escorted onto the base. Visitors must possess a valid photo ID, driver license, current vehicle tax, and MOT.
