MCC's mission is to provide grant assistance to support economic growth and poverty reduction in select developing countries with a demonstrated commitment to just and democratic governance, economic freedom, and investments in their citizenry. MCC's partner countries enter into a five-year agreement (Compact) with MCC that includes a plan for achieving shared development objectives and the responsibilities of each country in achieving those objectives. The Congressional and Public Affairs Division (CPA) is seeking a full-time Personal Services Contractor to serve as a Writer/Editor. As a core function, closely complementing and interacting with other MCC departments and CPA colleagues, the Communications team would benefit from the experience and expertise of a full-time, news-style Writer/Editor as an integral part of the effort to communicate MCC's mission, goals and achievements.
