ITEM DESCRIPTION – The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the manufacture of wooden containers. This effort is in support of the development, maintenance, and sustainment of systems, sub-systems, equipment, and components under the cognizance of the Strategic Systems Hardware Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane).
The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate competitively with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(b)(2) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2, 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Government intends to award multiple Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contracts and then compete individual delivery orders among awardees in accordance with FAR 16.505(b). It is anticipated that resultant contracts will include five-year ordering periods, plus five, one-year optional ordering periods. The contractor shall provide labor, materials, facilities, equipment, and administration for fabrication tasks as specified in individual delivery orders. The tasks will involve wooden containers that could be as large as 110” in length, width, or height.
Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the controlled attachments.
