UNICOR intends to enter into a one (1) base year with four (4) option year firm fixed price Indefinate Quantity Indefinate Delivery (IDIQ) type contract for wood edgebanding for UNICOR Allenwood PA and Forrest City AR Solicitation number is FN1436-17 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal. The minimum delivery order quantity is $100.00 each delivery order and the maximum delivery order quantity is $15,000.00. Delivery date requested is 14 days for each delivery order. Variation in quantity +/- 10 %. This procurement is a 100% small business set aside requirement. Therefore, only offers from small businesses will be considered for award. The Small Business Size Standard for NAICS Code 321999 is 500 employees. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers on a single award basis. Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Federal Correctional Complex, Route 15, 2 Miles N. of Allenwood, Allenwood PA 17810 ATTN: Tiffani Balestrini if sending via Fedex or UPS. Samples will be required of all items on the solicitation. If you have a representative/manufacturer send samples on your behalf, make sure samples are marked with your company's name and all other requested information. Any samples that are sent without all requested information, may not be considered for award. All Proposals should be faxed to 352-330-8152. Hard Copy Originals shall be received with two (2) days of solicitation closing date. All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items, and for the same scope of solicitation. Offers received after the exact time and date specified closing date will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror or offeror's whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: List in order of importance: Adherence to specification (ability to meet specifications, quality of samples provided), ISO Certification, Green Qualities, Past Performance, and price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
