UNICOR intends to enter into a five (5) year firm fixed price requirements type contract for edgebanding for UNICOR Allenwood PA   Solicitation number is FN1317-10 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal.  The minimum delivery order quantity is $500.00 each delivery order and the maximum delivery order quantity is $10,000.00.  Delivery date requested is 14 days for the initial order and 7 days for each order thereafter.  Variation in quantity +/- 10 %.  This procurement is a  full and open procurement.  There will be an economic price adjustment every 12 months based on the Producer Price Index for NAICS product code 321999.  Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers on a single award basis.  Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Federal Correctional Complex,  Route 15, 2 Miles N. of Allenwood, Allenwood PA 17810 ATTN:  Tiffani Balestrini if sending via Fedex or UPS.  A six inch (6") sample shall be provided of each color with proposal.     All samples shall be marked with color and corresponding UNICOR part number.  If you have a representative/manufacturer send samples on your behalf, make sure samples are marked with your company's name and all other requested information.  Any samples that are sent without all requested information, will not be considered for award.  Faxed proposals are also acceptable by faxing to 352-689-7342.  If sending United States Postal Service, please send to UNICOR, PO Box 1500, White Deer, PA 17887.   This information shall be displayed on the outside of the envelope with the solicitation number and offer closing date.  All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references.  References must be for same or similar items.  All Offerors must complete the ACH form and the CCR Registration, which can be found on UNICOR's webpage at .  For the ACH form click on business commercial opportunities, navigate to, procurement forms and click on ACH form and print.  For CCR Registration scroll down the page to Central Contractor Registration and complete internet based form.    All offerors must acknowledgment all amendments if any.  Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered.  The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror or offeror's whose offer represents the best value to the government.   The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: List in order of importance: Adherence to specification (ability to match desired color) Past Performance,  and price.   A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.  The solicitation will be available on Fedbizops at a later date..   Any questions regarding this solicitation must be sent in writing to Tiffani Balestrini at [email protected] and Tatea Cavanaugh at [email protected]   NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED    No copies of the solicitation will be mailed.  All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered.
