Western Kentucky University is seeking qualified firms to develop an integrated design for the WKU Hilltop Project in Bowling Green, KY. This project is located on the main campus of Western Kentucky University. Specific Project Description: The WKU Hilltop project includes the reconstruction of the Hilltop as it relates to both pedestrian and vehicular circulation. The goal of this project is to remove cars from the core of the campus and provide more green space for our WKU community. This project will provide our campus with a more pedestrian, friendly atmosphere. Upgrades to “The Hill” benefits the entire campus community. These planned upgrades will provide improved outdoor spaces where students can gather to eat, work, study, and collaborate. The safety and security of our students and WKU family is on the forefront of our efforts in both design and construction The project has an aggressive schedule starting with phasing summer 2021. This is a multi-phased, multi-year construction process.
