Introduction
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is conducting market research on behalf of the WIRELINE program.
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for market research and planning purposes, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. The contents herein are subject to change without notice. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
BACKGROUND
FEMA seeks vendors to provide local telecommunications voice, data and video services, audio and video teleconferencing equipment, miscellaneous ancillary equipment such as cables and connectors, and maintenance services to FEMA. All services procured shall be compliant with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and FEMA policies, standards and/or guidelines. The geographic scope is in CONUS and OCONUS, to include Native American Tribes under all FEMA mission conditions in order to fulfill its mission. FEMA's OCONUS locations include US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, the territories of Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, the Compact Nations of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI).
