The City of Sanford Fleet Maintenance department requires window-tinting services as required. Vehicles may be tinted in the Contractor’s shop, while off-road equipment shall be tinted in the field. Most field jobs will be performed at the fleet maintenance facility, however service at other sites within the city limits might be requested. A covered area will be provided at the City of Sanford locations for field service requests. The City owns and operates various makes, models, brands, types, and sizes of vehicles and operating equipment, including cars, SUVs, trucks, buses, fire trucks, heavy equipment, and both large and small agricultural, lawn, and construction equipment. It is the intent of the City to establish multiple contracts with several vendors for the provision of tinted windows. This is an indefinite quantity contract no guarantee services will be required.
