The general description of the work is to furnish all equipment, materials, labor, supplies, and supervision needed to accomplish the removal and replacing of 7 intake structure windows.
Remove the existing windows and hardware without causing excessive damage to the framing and install the new replacement windows. The existing windows shall be replaced with Aluminum (inside and out) thermal performance storefront windows. Two (2) windows shall be storefront windows with outward projected zero sightline windows with screens. These 2 windows will be identified on attached drawing. After the windows are installed, secured into place, and are determined to work properly, all gaps shall be insulated to form an airtight seal. All old windows, hardware, and debris shall be removed from the site and disposed of by the contractor.
Final measurement shall be taken by the successful offeror and discussed with the Maintenance Leader prior to ordering the replacement windows. After the windows are installed, the work shall be inspected by project personnel for fit, finish, air gaps, and to assure the windows are secured properly. Price should include all work and materials associated with purchase and installation of replacement windows, as well as removal and proper disposal off site of old windows and associated debris. Work shall be completed within 45 days from Notice to Proceed.
