The U.S. Forest Service has a requirement for a crop tree release project in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment and materials necessary to select crop trees and release them from unwanted competition. This project is located on the Monongahela National Forest, Greenbrier Ranger District, Pocahontas County, West Virginia.
DIRECTIONS TO SITES: Various locations identified on the attached maps within Pocahontas County,
West Virginia.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance is 365 days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.

SITE VISIT INFORMATION: The pre-quote meeting will take place on June 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Greenbrier Ranger District Office, Route 250, in Bartow, WV followed by a site visit.

ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN "SAM" DATABASE REQUIRED: In order to be considered for award of this project, registration in System for Award Management database (SAM) is required. Registration in SAM may be completed at www.sam.gov at no cost.

SET-ASIDE: This project is set-aside for small business.
