The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement to contract for a wild horse and burro (WH&B) facility, capable of maintaining a minimum of thirty three (33) to a maximum of eighty (80) WH&Bs. The purpose of the facility is to provide adequate pens, working facilities, and chutes to maintain, sort, provide veterinary care, train and adopt WH&Bs. The contractor shall be responsible for distributing feed and regular on-the-ground observation of the WH&Bs to ascertain their wellbeing and safety.
