Inu Teq, LLC has a requirement for a Digital Recorder System. One (1) each, Wideband Systems, Inc. DRS8500X-4.8TB-8A8D, Digital Recorder System, four (4) each DRS-4PCMCABLE PCM Cables, and one (1) each DRS8000-SATADOM Recorder OS Drive. This DRS system will be used to record telemetry, radar, video and analog data from various sources to be used for playback and long term storage.
Inu Teq, LLC intends to purchase the items from Wideband Systems, Incorporated, 2409 Linden Lane, Silver Springs, Maryland 20910.
Wideband System, Inc. is the only know vendor that to have this system available. We have several years of data that is recorded in a format that the DRS 8500X is capable of reading.
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to [email protected] to the identified point of contact not later than 2:30 p.m. local time on August 6, 2015. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
