The USDA, Agricultural Research Service is seeking potential small business sources that can convert online WIC Works Calculators into a mobile phone application commonly known as an "App."  This would allow WIC staff out in the field to access the functionalities of these tools anytime, anywhere from their mobile devices.  The objective is to develop one App for both iPhone and Android mobile devices that would run both the whole grain and infant formula calculators.  In addition to running the calculations, the app must also allow users to save the results to his/her phone.  Also required is one year maintenance.  The WIC Works Calculator App development and maintenance period of performance is from 9/30/2011 to 9/29/2012.  The Request for Quotation and a copy of the Statement of Work can be requested by email.  Responses are to be received within 5 days of this notice.  No telephone calls are being accepted.
