INVITATION TO BID The City of Marietta/Board of Lights and Water will accept Sealed bids from qualified landscapers at 205 Lawrence Street, Marietta, Georgia 30060 in accordance with the request for bids for: Whitlock Avenue Median Landscape Installation Bid no. RFB 21-45561 Bids will be received by the Purchasing Division, 1st floor, Marietta City Hall, 205 Lawrence Street, Marietta, Georgia 30060 until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 24th, 2020 at which time Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud to determine general conformance to the RFB. * Masks are required to attend.* Late submittals will not be accepted. The project includes the demolition, preparation, and installation of landscaping in 2 existing median Islands located in GDOT Right of Way adjacent to the Marietta High school. A mandatory pre-bid conference for interested parties will be held at the Marietta High School Parking lot located at 1171 Whitlock Ave Marietta, Georgia 10:00 am on Tuesday September 15th, 2020. Contract, if and when awarded, will be on the basis of information contained in the Bid documents and other information as requested. Bids and pricing must be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening. City of Marietta reserves the right to award the work on whatever basis is in the best interest of the City and to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in the bids.
