INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids for storm sewer improvements, roadway reclamation, and paving will be received online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) by Mount Pleasant Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2019. Bid results will be available via PennBid’s website by the close of business, Tuesday, September 24, 2019. Copies of Bidding Documents for Wheatland Drive Improvements are available online and at no cost at www.PennBid.net. NOTE: The Supervisors of Mount Pleasant Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Mount Pleasant Township. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Mount Pleasant Township in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247.
