Delivery of grain that meets the following USDA and FGIS research and test specifications and parameter requirements: US No. 1 HRW wheat, Moisture Content <12%, New Crop wheat, Test weight 60 lbs. /bu (test weight also covered under FGIS guidelines which require the same), Total Quantity of Wheat needed is 14,000 bushels, delivered between November 9th thru November 13th, 07:30-16:00 M-F, frequency of 4-6 trucks per day of 800 to 900 bushels per truck. As all locally harvested, grain that is exported, ships out this time of the year in order to meet U.S. export deadlines, it is most urgent that an order is placed as quickly as possible for the required quantity of new crop grain that meets the stringent USDA/FGIS guidelines and meets our research requirements. Due to the urgency to purchase this grain while it is still available, the Government intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order on or about October 23, 2015, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Notice of Intent is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all responses received by 4:00PM central time, October 22, 2015. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
