The Western Montana Acquisition Zone (WMAZ), which consists of the Flathead, Lolo, and Bitterroot National Forests, intends to contract for the application of pesticide carbaryl to protect pine tree species from the infestation of Rocky Mountain Pine Beetle. Early spring application is anticipated. The solicitation will be available mid March 2011, and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
