Notice is hereby given that the Town of Northlake is now calling for bids for the Westbridge Drive Striping Improvements from Cleveland Gibbs Road to Canyon Falls Drive and Canyon Falls Drive. All bids must be sealed and response envelope clearly marked as follows: SEALED BID WESTBRIDGE DRIVE STRIPING IMPROVEMENTS FROM CLEVELAND GIBBS ROAD TO CANYON FALLS DRIVE AND CANYON FALLS DRIVE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ADDENDUM, (IF ANY) Sealed bids shall be returned to the Town of Northlake, 1500 Common Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, Texas 76226, prior to 2:00 PM, CDST, August 5, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. The Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined or obtained on-line by visiting the Town Northlake’s Purchasing website at www.town.northlake.tx.us/purchasing and clicking on the link to the advertised project. The Contract Documents may be downloaded, viewed, and printed by interested contractors and/or suppliers. Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents may be examined or purchased at Halff Associates, Inc 4000 Fossil Creek Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76137-2720. A non-mandatory prebid meeting for the project will be held at the Town of Northlake, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, Texas 76226 at 10:00 AM, CDST, July 28, 2022. Questions regarding distribution of Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents and/or design related questions for this project shall be directed to Halff Associates, Inc, attention Jacob Hays, PE and all questions shall be submitted via email to [email protected]. Questions received less than three (3) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. This project includes the proposed pavement markings, striping, and signage of Westbridge Drive from Cleveland Gibbs Road to Canyon Falls Drive and the renovation of the existing pavement markings and striping located along Canyon Falls Drive. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the Town of Northlake in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days from date on which bids are opened.
