The Town of Wellesley is seeking Requests for Qualifications (RFQ’s) from qualified registered architects, engineers and/or other qualified responders to provide professional services to help the Town develop a plan for the renovation of Town Hall, which is listed with the Massachusetts Historical Commission (MHC) and also on the National Register of Historic Places. The Town seeks to provide a long-term solution to address the many needs of the building without compromise to program or its historic character. Professional services sought, may include but not be limited to: Task 1 – EXISTING CONDITIONS INVESTIGATION Task 2 – BUILDING CODE, MAAB AND HISTORICAL REVIEW Task 3 – VISIONING AND PROGRAMMING Task 4 – SUSTAINABILITY Task 5 – ANALYSIS AND CONCEPTUAL DESIGN RECOMMENDATIONS Task 6 – PROJECT COSTS AND SCHEDULE Task 7 – PREPARE REPORT Task 8 – MEETINGS AND PRESENTATIONS There will be a pre-submission briefing for this project on May 15, 2020 at 10:00 am, held remotely on ZOOM. All planholders who provide a valid email address will be emailed an invitation to the remote meeting. There will be no on-site tours due to the COVID pandemic. To be considered for selection interested consultants must ensure ten (10) bound packets and ten (10) flash drives containing all the information specified in Section IV of the Request for Qualifications are to be received by the Town of Wellesley, Town Hall Att.: FMD, 525 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA 02482 by 11:00 am, June 3, 2020. All packets must clearly identify the contents as “Proposal for Town Hall Supplemental Feasibility Study”.
