This acquisition is a Definite Quantity Contract for the manufacture and delivery of 20 EA of

NSN 3131-01-473-5046, identified as a WELDING MACHINE, ARC. There is one approved source for this material: Miller Electric MFG Co. (CAGE 40608) P/N 951404.

The solicitation number is SPE8E6-16-Q-0011 and will be issued unrestricted. The solicitation will provide for a one-time procurement. A single award will be made from this solicitation.

Delivery will be FOB Origin. The Government required delivery schedule is 45 days after date of order.

FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items will be utilized. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable in accordance with FAR 15.101-2 will be the source selection approach.

This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this notice.

The estimated release date of the solicitation is December 22, 2015. The date is subject to change. A copy of the solicitation will be available through DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS), https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources will be able to submit a proposal which will be considered by DLA Troop Support.
