The Pittsburgh Job Corps Center, operated by Career Systems Development Corporation for the U.S. Department of Labor, is soliciting bids for the construction of a new welcome center and guardhouse on the Center’s campus. The project is funded by the U.S.D.O.L. and requires compliance of Davis-Bacon prevailing wages. The Bid Package, consisting of necessary bid documents, construction scope of work, and architectural drawings, shall be available May 12, 2010. Interested parties should contact Joseph J. Redlinger, Purchasing Agent (412-441-8698) to receive a copy of the Bid Package. A mandatory pre-bid conference with the architect present will be held on Thursday, May 20, at 10:00 A.M. on the Center. Sealed bids must be received by the Procurement Department no later than 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 27, 2010 and must display the words “New Welcome Center & Guardhouse” and “Attention – Purchasing Agent” to receive consideration. Pittsburgh Job Corps Center reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive formalities in the bidding process.
