This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z080-21-Q-P3IE00100 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-65 dated January 29, 2013. The NAICS Code is 333923. The small business size standard. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5.

The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center Industrial Operation Center has a requirement for the following:

1. To conduct an OSHA required inspection and certified load test for a Kleeco Mobile Boat Hoist (MBH), model number SP600H, with a serial number 062829918, (30 Ton Mobile Gantry Crane). The MBH has been modified to fit in the current parameters of the boat bay. The overall height of the MBH was reduced from 27’ to 25’ and the overall inside width was reduced from 21’ 8” to 17’ 5”.  The overall reduction in size was completed under the direction of a certified structural engineer.

2. The vendor shall complete all inspections and testing at U.S. Coast Guard Base Cape May, NJ.  The testing and inspection requires the following, but not limited to the attached scope of work.
