The contractor will be required to design, fabricate, deliver, set-up, and provide training to BEP personnel for one (1) 20.5" offset web press with slitter, fan-fold unit, sheeter and turret re-winder unit. The press shall be used to convert rolls of paper into either spools of bands for use on the large examining printing equipment (LEPE) or sheets of bands for use on the currency overprinting and processing equipment (COPE), or for government check printing.

The BEP anticipates issuing a solicitation on or about 19 July 2017. An unrestricted full and open competitive solicitation is planned for this requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 333244 -- Printing Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 Employees.
