The City of North Augusta will receive bids for the Waterworks Park Bridge Replacement until 11:00 am on Thursday March 2, 2023 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. The project consists of installation of a 70’ x 12’ pre-fabricated steel pedestrian bridge, associated foundation construction, concrete deck pavement, concrete sidewalk replacement, and slope/creekbank stabilization. The pre-fabricated pedestrian bridge will be provided by the City. The complete examination and understanding of the construction plans and specifications and the site of the proposed work is necessary in order for the bidder to properly submit a proposal. Electronic copies of the proposal form and contract documents including the specifications and drawings are available at no charge from the City of North Augusta Engineering Department, 100 Georgia Avenue, North Augusta, South Carolina 29841.
