ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Garden City 301 N. 8th Street, Garden City, Kansas Waterline Replacement Project WCI File: 19-100-063-06 Sealed Bids for the construction of the Waterline Replacement Project will be received by City of Garden City (OWNER) at the office of 301 N. 8th Street, Garden City, KS 67846, until 3:00 PM local time on January 8, 2020 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. The Project is generally described as a water system improvement project as follows: Waterline Replacement Project: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for the utility improvements. The improvements include approximately 2,683 linear feet of directionally drilled 6-inch water piping, 195 linear feet of directionally drilled 12-inch water piping, 903 linear feet of trenched 6-inch water piping, 1,194 linear feet of trenched 12-inch water piping, one 6-inch gate valve, one 12-inch gate valve, 11 tapping sleeve & valves, 9 fire hydrants, 46 service lines, 1 line stop, 1 water meter service, waterline abandonment, site clearing and restoration, concrete encasement, steel encasement, removal and replacement of surfacing, construction staking, mobilization, erosion control, traffic control, grass seeding, and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified.
