This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify sources with demonstrated capabilities and experience for furnishing all necessary plant, equipment, materials, supplies and labor necessary to inspect, operate and maintain the South Sandusky Waste water Treatment Facility and Waste Water Lift Stations, located on the Rend Lake Project Office Lands, Franklin County, Illinois. In addition, furnishing all necessary supervision to plan, administer, and perform the specified services contained in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's standards.

The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 562219, Other Nonhazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal.
